Caltech Recording Studio

Information

The Caltech Recording Studio is located in Club Room 1 of the Winnett Student Center. The studio has some of the best equipment available, including a Digi 003, Digimax FS, and high quality microphones. The Studio computer contains Pro-Tools Digital recording software and plugins. In addition, the Finale software package is available if you would like to use the studio as a composer's workstation. Click here for a complete list of equipment. Rules

The studio is not to be used for rehearsals or to "jam". (You can use the Caltech Jam Room for those purposes.) It is to be used as a recording studio only. (Exceptions to the above may be given to members of the Caltech Bands who are taking band for credit.) Of course, if you use the equipment, you are responsible for keeping it in good condition and the room clean so the next group to use it will enjoy the facility.

If you need someone to engineer your project, Mike Ferrara can arrange that for you.

Please check out the contact page if you have any suggestions regarding the use of the Caltech Recording Studio.
